How Do You Judge Quality When You Are Standing In The Shop?
Stitch density is the fastest signal of construction quality, because hand-saddle stitching uses two needles through the same hole and cannot unravel from a single broken thread the way a machine lockstitch can. Look at the stitching along a strap anchor and at the corners, where the load concentrates.
