Quality Control
How Is Quality Controlled Across A Run?
The approved sample is the control document, because it is the only version of the product that both sides have physically examined and agreed on. Every quality question during a run is answered by comparison against it rather than by reinterpreting the original brief.
Within the run we check cutting consistency, stitch line accuracy at load-bearing points, edge finish, hardware function and dimensional accuracy against the specification. Leather is a natural material, so hides vary in grain and tone between pieces — that variation is normal and we agree acceptable tolerance with you at the sampling stage rather than pretending it does not exist.
